Our "Five Fantastic Senses" are the focus of the children's fall storytime at the Byron G. Merrill Library and will continue next week with the theme: "Smell It." The book featured for the day will be one from a favorite series, "Mr. Putter and Tabby Catch the Cold." What happens when Mr. Putter catches a cold and who will take care of him? Children of all ages are invited to come and find out, participate in fun activities and get crafty on Wednesday, October 9th at 3:30pm.
The Knitting Society will meet October 10th at 2. Helen will not be able to attend… Who would like to bring cookies???
Third Thursday in the Village continues on Thursday, October 17th at 7 pm as the Rumney Historical Society  focuses in on the Plymouth Fair. The Fair was the event of the year for rural folks in the Plymouth Area. What do you remember? Pumpkin growing contests, sulky races, Tilt-a-Whirls, stunt cars, the queen contest…. you tell us. Local historian Dick Flanders will lead us in remembering.
