Thursday, April 12th at 2 Knitting Circle We all look forward to this special afternoon when we gather around the table with our handiwork. It is always fun to see what everyone is working on. Bring your current project and stop in for a cup of tea and some good conversation. Rachel will have a little spring craft for those who are interested. Do invite a friend or two... we need more inspiration.
Thursday, April 12th 4 – 5 Family Historians We invite Rumney residents interested in learning more about their family history to join us for an hour of inspiration…perhaps you have always wanted to put together a family tree or perhaps you are at a point where you need some help. Stop in and find out what it is all about. You are encouraged to bring information you have and even your laptop if you have one.
Thursday, April 19 at 4 - 5 Christmas Club We celebrate the season all year long as we meet sporadically to work on little projects which make the details of the holiday easier. This month we each will be working at our own homes so do have a small project planned. One suggestion is to inventory your gift cupboard and start this next year’s list. I am going to be addressing envelopes which I know will make next December much more pleasant. Let Carrie know what you accomplished!
Thursday, April 19th at 3 Art Fun Rumney (Library) Rocks! Join us for a quick Make & Not Take program as we (adults and teens) work on a fun community project together. Rachel will demonstrate some quick and easy rock painting techniques. The project involves painting a positive, inspirational word or scene on a rock, and then, come warm weather, leaving it somewhere for someone else to find, and hopefully brighten their day. We look forward to a basket full by summer.
