Plymouth Record - 8/1/19

Our Summer Reading Program is coming to a close. Carla Demler, our children’s librarian, has led us all on an exciting six week space adventure. We’ve read books, done some crafts, and taken space trips here and there. Thank you Carla for making this all happen! Rachel Anderson has entertained our little ones on Tuesday mornings with some fun space adventures as well. There’s been a lot of excitement.

Our ‘Summer Reads’ display has been very popular… what fun it has been to watch these beach reads go in and out. They are all perfect for this time of the year.

Meanwhile our Old Home Day Book Sale has become an on-going event and has started already. We have a huge number of books thanks to so many donations so do stop by and take a look. The sale will be happening during our regular hours (Wednesdays 1-5, Thursdays 1-5 and Saturdays 10-1). The sale will continue for a few weeks or until we need the room back!

We have Rumney Adventure tee shirts for sale at the library… They come in a variety of sizes, are very good looking, and the sale will help support Old Home Day… another reason to come to the library!

The library will open at 9am on Old Home Day and remain open until 2. You are invited to look through our sale books and make a donation for what you take. We will have scrapbooks of days gone by for you to look at. We are still excited about our updated downstairs which includes a teen room, preschool space, a genealogy area, and space for programs. You are welcome to take a tour.
Yikes… That’s enough for this week! See you at the library!
